Fashion Traveler #3: Malioboro Street

It was December 22nd, we went to the famous and artistic street in Yogyakarta; Malioboro!
Malioboro was good street for strolling around, enjoying the fine arts, and shopping, but, there were so many sites that located so close to Malioboro. Thus, my friends and I decided to go to those places first in the morning. We rent a pedicab to reach unfamiliar yet historical sites in the city. It was okay to pay IDR 10,000 or 15,000 for the pedicab, plus, we had the pedicab driver as the guide.

First destination was Twin Banyan Tree. It is located not far from Malioboro street and Keraton Yogyakarta. The myth of this site is people who can walk straightly into the middle between these Banyan trees will be able to achieve their dreams. Well, we may believe or not. Me and my friends just wanted to try and we could reach the middle successfully.

See what we found while walking on the alley..

The second destination was Taman Sari.
These tunnels sometime were forgotten by visitors. Check what inside!
The pedicab driver guided us eagerly. (o´▽`o)
We didn't need any ticket to come in, but giving any for the cleaning service is allowed.

The other tunnel brought us to a piece of heritage which is Gumuling Well.
This area was used for praying by Muslims.
Bye-bye.. Thank you for keeping the tunnel, Ahjussi(ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

Gedhong Gapura Hageng

Close to Taman Sari, there is a village for Abdi Dalem who its generation works as painters. Unfortunately, I could not take any pictures to respect their courtesy.

After visiting Taman Sari, we went to Dagadu, then to Keraton Yogyakarta. Yet, we canceled our plan to enter Keraton Yogyakarta since it was already noon and we wanted to directly go shopping in Beringharjo market in Malioboro street.

Along my journey in Jogja I had favorite beverage that I always bought when I were thirsty. It was Es Dawet. I could find it anywhere in Jogja, including Malioboro. It just costed IDR 5,000. ヽ(♡‿♡)ノ

There were so many accessories and clothes kiosks along the streetside. They were so cheap and we could bargain them.

Time to stroll along Malioboro! ...=┌(;)┘
This is my favorite. Check this out!
lol. Yes, true! I changed my top inside because it was already sunny and I couldn't describe how hot it was. There were mirrors inside that made me easier to dress up and my friends outside who guarded me. ヾ(・ω・`)ノヾ(´・ω・)ノ゛
I love the last bench. It was incredible!

Alright! This is the end of the story for our travelling in Jogja. The next day, I left Jogja and went to another city for another vacation. There are a lot of view that I didn't capture and post here since I have to stay secure by using the gadget rarely.

HAVE A NICE HOLIDAY!

Fashion Traveller #2: Prambanan Temple

This is my second destination on holiday; Prambanan temple..! \(≧▽≦)/
Again, me and my bestfriend Indri went there on December 21, 2014. See our admission ticket! It's same with one in Borobudur temple. How good the government manage this tourism thing! (⌒‿⌒)
